What makes holistic therapy different from traditional therapy with a psychologist?

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, trained in clinical psychology, psychopathology, neuroscience, and psychodynamic approaches. This means I offer a structured, grounded framework informed by current knowledge of psychological functioning.
Holistic therapy goes further by integrating additional dimensions of the self —physical, emotional, transgenerational… — that are often overlooked in strictly analytic or behavioral models.
It doesn’t stand in opposition to traditional therapy; it broadens its scope.

How does this differ from an energy-based or spiritual approach offered by a non-psychologist practitioner?

My work stands at the intersection of both worlds. While some practitioners may offer energy or spiritual work without clinical training, I anchor my approach in a rigorous clinical framework.
This enables me to discern what relates to trauma, symbolic processes, or structural dynamics, while never losing sight of the person’s psychological reality.

Why not rely solely on talk or psychological insight ?
